Dr. Nguyen received her Bachelors of Science from the University of South Carolina and earned her Naturopathic Doctorate and Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.

 

She has received additional training in acupuncture and Chinese medicine at University of Chengdu, China and also completed a 2-year training in a hospital-based residency in Integrative Oncology at The Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago.  She is one of few naturopathic doctors who is certified as a Fellow in the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology.

 

Dr. Nguyen’s comprehensive medical training in both conventional and natural medicine allows her to provide her patients with many different options when it comes to their healthcare needs.  Her treatment options focus on optimizing diet and nutritional status, exercise, sleep and other lifestyle factors.  She readily uses vitamin and mineral supplementations, herbal medicines, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy and pharmaceutical prescriptions. 

 

Dr. Nguyen practices family medicine with a special interest in integrative oncology.  Her goal is to create individual health plans utilizing evidence-based medicine, natural therapies and traditional Eastern philosophies.  She enjoys educating her patients and empowering them to be proactive participants in their care and make healthy decisions in their everyday lives.

 

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her family, friends and exploring nature.
