At my clinic, I meet people every day who feel discouraged by their changing bodies. They’ve gained weight that doesn’t make sense. Their energy is lower than it used to be. Their appetite feels unpredictable. Their metabolism seems… different. And they often blame themselves.
But here’s the truth: weight gain is rarely a simple matter of willpower. It’s a tangle of hormonal shifts, stress physiology, sleep disruption, emotional strain, genetics, age-related changes, and so much more. And layered on top of those personal factors is something almost no one talks about: you are being targeted as a consumer.
Ultra-processed foods, addictive flavor enhancers, and “bliss point engineering” are not accidents—they’re business strategies. The convenience-food industry and metabolic-pharmaceutical markets represent enormous profit streams, and they thrive when we stay trapped in cycles of craving, fatigue, and frustration. None of this means we’re helpless. It means the playing field is not level—and that you deserve tools that match the complexity of the problem.
Metabolic Masters is a selective, evidence-based educational experience designed for individuals who are ready to address the root causes of metabolic dysfunction and reclaim long-term health. This course is not about short-term fixes or superficial lifestyle advice. It is for people who are prepared to make permanent behavioral and dietary changes in response to conditions such as:
-
Metabolic syndrome
-
Elevated BMI
-
Cardiovascular disease
-
Insulin resistance, prediabetes, or related comorbidities
Enrollment is restricted to participants who meet the inclusion criteria and demonstrate a genuine commitment to change. Individuals who do not meet these criteria will not be admitted.
Participants will engage in weekly learning, reflection, discussion, and practical application. Health data will be tracked throughout the program and shared (de- identified) with a Harvard Medical School pilot program focused on improving nutrition education for medical students and continuing education for physicians. Your participation contributes not only to your own healing, but to reshaping how medicine approaches nutrition and metabolic health.

Think of it as metabolic rehab meets culinary confidence building… with good company and good food every week.
Here’s to reclaiming your metabolism—and your freedom—with clarity, compassion, and community.
